EVALUATION AND REPORTS
Evaluation is used to identify what programs are doing, share what has been accomplished and to improve programs. By adapting and then implementing the following evaluation plan, First 5 Monterey County seeks to assist programs in identifying strengths and areas for improvement in their operations and articulating accomplishments.
First 5 Monterey County funded programs and services are evaluated to assess their impact on children 0-5 and their families. Working with Harder + Company, an independent evaluation team, First 5 Monterey County works to measure who was served and document the effects of First 5 Monterey County funds on children and families in Monterey County.
Evaluation efforts address the impact at various levels including at the individual program level, the collective funded programs level, the county level as well as contributing to state-wide evaluations.
