MONTEREY AREA GRANTMAKERS

Five Monterey area grantmakers have been collaborating to improve outcomes for the community members in Monterey County. 

Those grantmakers include:

Community Foundation for Monterey County

First 5 Monterey County

The Harden Foundation

Monterey Peninsula Foundation

United Way Monterey County

The first step in this collaboration has been to develop a common grant application form.  The common application was developed to simplify and streamline the grant seeking process for local organizations and agencies.  All five grantmakers accept the application.  Information about the individual grantmakers priorities and deadlines can be accessed via their websites by clicking the links above.   Please note that First 5 Monterey County can not accept the common budget forms..

The next area of collaboration for the Monterey County Grantmakers is developing common evaluation frameworks and tools for measuring the impact of funding across agencies.
