In-Person Training Details

Join the inaugural Community of Practice for REDI Trainers, a collaborative initiative from First 5 Monterey County and the Monterey County Health Department. This Training of Trainers (ToT) program is designed to build a community-led network of facilitators equipped to advance Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) practices for children and families in Monterey County. Participants will receive comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities to co-facilitate future REDI workshops, ensuring lasting impact and community relevance.

Attendance to all training sessions is required, as well as participation in follow-up activities.

Training of Trainers (ToT)

May 29–30 & June 2–4, 2025, 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (5 days)

REDI Workshops

June 24, 25, 27, 9:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. (3 days)

  • Additional dates in September 2025 and April 2026
  • Facilitators will be asked to co-facilitate/support at least one of these workshops.
