Help put free books in the hands of children from birth until their fifth birthday across Monterey County. Through this beloved program, enrolled children receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book in either English or English/Spanish by mail every single month — building a love of stories, reading, and a foundation for lifelong learning.
Early Childhood Equity Stewardship Fund
Established by First 5 Monterey County, this fund supports children from all backgrounds by providing critical resources that help kids start strong, learn confidently, and build a foundation for lifelong success from mental health training for providers to family strengthening programs.
