Quality Matters
A quality recognition and improvement system (QRIS) that enhances the quality of early learning programs through professional development, coaching, and a star-rating system for child care providers. This program ensures that young children have access to enriching early education experiences.
Door to Hope
Provides behavioral health services for individuals and families struggling with addiction, mental health issues, trauma, or unstable home environments. Supports programs like Parents as Teachers and Pathways to Safety, which focus on empowering families and creating safe spaces for children.
Go Kids, Inc.
Go Kids offers high-quality child development programs and community outreach services for children and families. The New Possibilities program provides comprehensive screenings, in-home visits, care coordination, Family, Friend, and Neighbor Cafecitos, case management, and referrals for families with children prenatal through age 5.
Centro Binacional para el Desarrollo Indígena Oaxaqueño (CBDIO)
Serves South County by providing culturally relevant resources and programs for indigenous families. CBDIO focuses on family engagement, early childhood education, and connecting families to community resources.
Central Coast Early Childhood Advocacy Network
This network is dedicated to centering parent voices in advocacy work to support systems and policies that prioritize families. It collaborates with First 5 Monterey County to empower parents and caregivers through advocacy training and policy engagement.
North Monterey County Unified School District
Serves over 4,500 students from infant through adult education across northern Monterey County communities. The district is committed to preparing all students to be college, career, and life ready, offering comprehensive academic programs, special education, migrant education, and family support services.
Monterey County Probation Department
Supervises adult and juvenile offenders, providing court recommendations, enforcing court orders, and supporting offender rehabilitation and victim assistance. The department also operates juvenile facilities and collaborates with law enforcement, schools, and community organizations to promote public safety and reduce recidivism.
