The submission deadline has passed, and no further submissions will be accepted. Due to a high volume of applications, the evaluation and interview schedule has been revised. Virtual interviews originally planned for October 5–6 will now be held October 21–23, 2026. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted directly. The revised timeline is below.

First 5 Monterey County (F5MC) and the Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Development Initiative are seeking applicants to be part of a Consultant Pool (Pool) that will serve as a source of pre-qualified Consultants who may be selected to provide support to various types of projects.
The overall areas of support being sought are:
Submissions will be accepted on an on-going basis through June 30, 2025. Once accepted, Pool members will be solicited for a specific contract as needed, based on areas of expertise of the Consultant and needs of Bright Beginnings. Acceptance into the pool is not a guarantee of a contract. Selected Consultants may be required to participate in a panel interview and to submit additional information in order to complete the contracting process.
