ALL KIDS COUNT! F5MC RADIO INTERVIEWS ABOUT THE 2020 CENSUS

Across the county, First 5 is reminding community members about the importance of counting ALL young children, especially those ages 0-5. Because an accurate census count helps determine where federal funds are distributed for programs that are important for children, we are shaping the future of children for the next ten years and beyond. It is important to secure the resources children need as they grow up and it can all start with filling out the Census.

Have you heard us on the radio? We were on air on La Preciosa 100.7 y 100.9 on Saturday, June 27; Radio Bilingue the weekend of July 17; and 102.5 KDON, 92.7 KTOM, 105.1 KOCEAN, and 101.1 Power Talk on Sunday, July 5 discussing the importance of counting young children in the 2020 Census.

We're working to make sure that all Monterey County family members are accurately counted. If young children live at your address, they belong on your Census—even if you're not their parent!

As a helpful reminder, there are three ways to respond to the 2020 Census:
