Kit for New Parents
Becoming a new parent can be an exciting and overwhelming experience. F5MC offers free kits to new parents, filled with important information and resources on health, nutrition, safety and positive discipline to support parents during this precious time.
Strong Start Partnership
The Strong Start Partnership is designed to provide coordinated care to families with children from the prenatal stage through age five (with a focus on pregnant families and children 0-2). Through the Strong Start Partnership, organizations work together to meet the needs of a child and family and increase a families access to resources.
Parents as Teachers: Home Visiting Program
Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a parent coaching program. Participating parents will increase their understanding of how to support children in ways that support their growth, health and development. Parent educators, through our partner agencies, also support parents with: referrals, parent coaching, connections to other families with young children.
Learning Resources for Families
When you read, talk, sing and play with your children, you are encouraging positive social-emotional development. Find activities you can do at home with your children that support their overall development.
