First 5 Monterey County (F5MC), recently implemented a bold new Strategic Plan for 2023 - 2029 that centers the lived experiences of our children, families and caregivers.
We are seeking a talented, committed, and creative community member to help us continue implementing this plan to improve the lives and strengthen the voices of the children and families in our county.
To support maintaining a board that is balanced in terms of knowledge and regional representation, the selection of a new commissioner will be prioritized based on the following:
• Experience/knowledge of trauma and/or mental health.
• Experience living and/or working in South County or North County.
